EFAB Resourcing are seeking for an experience Estimator who will The Estimator will prepare accurate quotations, evaluate technical documents, and collaborate closely with the in-house teams to ensure pricing reflects scope, materials, labour, standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed tenders, quotations and cost estimates for heavy fabrication, platework, industrial chimneys, ductwork and modular structures.
* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and site surveys.
* Liaise with internal departments to validate costing assumptions.
* Source material and subcontractor pricing.
* Present clear estimates including risks and assumptions.
* Maintain accurate estimating records.
Skills & Experience Required
* Knowledge of heavy fabrication, platework, industrial chimneys, ductwork and large modular structures.
* Familiarity with welding processes (MIG, TIG, MMA, SAW) and BS EN ISO 3834-2.
* Experience working to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 4.
* Understanding of industrial paint and coating systems.
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Desirable
* Experience in secondary steelwork and mezzanine structures.
* Proficiency with estimating software/ERP systems.
