About the Role

Brite Education is currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a network of supportive secondary schools in Wigan and Warrington.

This role is ideal for individuals with school-based experience who are looking for flexible work, consistent placements, and the opportunity to build relationships with local schools.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects

Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

*

Manage behaviour confidently and effectively

*

Support students in completing assigned work

*

Follow school policies and procedures

*

Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leadership

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 months’ experience working in a UK secondary school setting

*

Confident classroom management skills

*

Availability for at least 3 days per week

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

*

Right to work in the UK
