Business Development Manager – Modular & Welfare Solutions
£40,000–£50,000 Basic + Lucrative Bonus + Company Car

Are you a B2B sales professional who enjoys building credibility, developing relationships and shaping large commercial opportunities?

This is an opportunity to join a highly successful, market-leading business operating in the modular buildings and welfare solutions space. The company works on some of the largest construction and infrastructure projects in the region, offering customers a comprehensive, sustainable site solution rather than a single product.

With strong backing, a proven proposition and growing demand, this role offers real freedom to grow your local territory and build a long-term career with an organisation known for quality, innovation and sustainability.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for developing business across North East, working on large, complex building projects with contractors, developers and end clients.

While you’ll engage regularly with on-site contacts, the role places a strong emphasis on influencing senior decision makers — including Directors — through ROI-led, commercial conversations.

The company’s modular and welfare offering is well-established and highly competitive and supported by a strong sustainability agenda, making this a compelling proposition in today’s construction market.

The Role

* Develop new business opportunities across major construction and infrastructure projects

* Build relationships at site level and director level

* Position modular buildings and welfare solutions as part of a total site strategy

* Lead commercial, value-based discussions focused on ROI, efficiency and sustainability

* Grow the territory with a high level of autonomy and ownership

* Work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet complex customer needs

What We’re Looking For

* Proven B2B sales experience (sector background is open)

* Strong ability to build rapport and credibility with senior stakeholders

* Confident operating in a consultative, relationship-led sales environment

* Comfortable managing longer sales cycles and complex projects

* Organised, self-motivated and resilient

* Ambitious and keen to develop a long-term career with a market leader

Experience selling into construction, hire, modular, infrastructure or related sectors would be advantageous BUT any B2B sales experience will be considered provided you have proven abilities to build credibility and rapport with senior decision makers.

Why This Role?

* Join a market-leading, financially strong business

* Sell a high-quality, sustainability-led solution

* Freedom to grow and shape a key regional territory

* Exposure to major projects and senior decision makers

* Clear opportunity for career progression and development

If you’re a driven B2B sales professional looking for more autonomy, bigger projects and a stronger platform to succeed, this role offers an excellent next step.
