The Sample Production Operative is responsible for preparing food samples (e.g. breakfast cereals, snacks, and biscuits) by taking products from stock, preparing them into samples, and processing them for delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and pack food samples accurately according to provided instructions
Select products from stock for sample preparation
Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment at all times
Carry out basic end-of-day cleaning tasks (e.g. sweeping floors, wiping down work surfaces)
Handle products safely, including manual handling of items up to 20kg
Maintain confidentiality, particularly when working with prototype or pre‑launch productsKey Skills & Requirements

Good level of spoken English and ability to follow verbal instructions
Willingness and confidence to ask questions or raise concerns if something appears incorrect
Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks
Strong awareness of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Trustworthy, with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
