BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in Greater Manchester.

This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, temp ongoing in the first instance.

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Payrate- £12.24ph - £13.24 PAYE or £15.74ph - £17.06 Umbrella

This a great opportunity to work for a leading housing charity where you will be working with vulnerable people helping them with support around housing applications, tenancies and job and education opportunities.

Duties include

· To complete a support plan with each tenant detailing elements of support required for their tenancy to be maintained

. Signposting information.

· To work alongside each individual in understanding how best to provide support through a risk assessment process to highlight any risks to themselves, their tenancy, or others.

· To provide information, advice, and guidance to enable tenants to understand their responsibilities and support them to develop effective strategies to manage those responsibilities.

Criteria:

Previous experince within housing or supported accommodation is some what beneficial but full training will be provided. We would welcome a background supporting people and a strong level of customer service. You will also need to have access to your own vehicle to work around the local area and any mileage is charged at 45p per mile
