Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation & Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems including CCTV, Access and Intruder Detection Systems (IDS), Gates & Barriers. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services.

Duties

* Install and configure computer hardware and networking systems according to specifications.

* Conduct regular maintenance checks on mechanical systems and electrical installations to ensure optimal performance.

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CCTV systems, IDS, and other telecommunication equipment.

* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.

* Read and interpret schematics to assist in system design and implementation.

* Collaborate with project teams during construction phases to ensure compliance with design specifications.

* Provide technical support to clients, addressing any concerns or queries regarding system functionality.

* Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reports on repairs and installations.

Requirements

* Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices.

* Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS, and telecommunications equipment is highly desirable.

* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.

* Ability to read schematics and assist in system design processes.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
