Contact customers via phone or video to gather further details and verify pollution reports.
Ensure all reports are actioned within agreed service-level timescales.
Escalate or de-escalate incidents through thorough desktop-based risk assessments.
Review previous pollution responses and Environmental Agency contacts to identify areas for improvement.
Use multiple data sources and internal systems to make sound, evidence-based decisions.

Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused or analytical environment.
Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
An interest in environmental protection and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of sewerage or waste networks and pollution-related processes (advantageous but not essential).
Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – essential
Further qualifications in water, sewerage, engineering, or network management – desirable
