? Your Role
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:

Teach inspiring Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop both technical and creative skills

*

Deliver a broad curriculum covering a range of materials and processes, encouraging practical skills and design thinking

*

Create a positive and dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their ideas from concept to finished product

*

Work closely with a dedicated department team to plan and deliver a broad, engaging curriculum

*

Provide constructive feedback and assessments to help students make progress and feel proud of their achievements

*

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as design exhibitions, creative clubs, and school events

*

Foster a classroom culture that values experimentation, creativity, and independent thinking

✅ What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will have QTS by September 2025

*

Has a degree in Design and Technology or a related field, with a strong understanding of various materials and design processes

*

Is passionate about teaching Design and Technology and committed to inspiring students at all levels

*

Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

*

Is motivated to continue developing professionally, with a strong commitment to growth, whether you are an ECT or an experienced teacher
