Title: Qualified Electrician
Location: Skelmersdale (WN5 7XB)
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + Overtime + Bonus Scheme + On-Call

Our client, a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in Skelmersdale, is looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Electrician on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with opportunities for regular overtime and participation in an on-call rota.
This role involves carrying out a variety of electrical works across occupied and void domestic properties, with a focus on EICR inspection and testing as well as associated remedial works.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out EICR inspection, testing, and related remedial work.
Work independently in domestic environments, diagnosing and resolving faults.
Complete NICEIC certification to required standards.
Use company-provided PDA to update job history.
Adhere to Health & Safety, Equality, and Company Performance Policies.
Deliver excellent customer service and communication.
Be flexible with scheduling, including possible overtime and on-call work.
Requirements:
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2394/2395 (formerly 2391) preferred but not essential.
Experience in domestic installations and testing is essential.
Must be able to complete NICEIC certification.
Asbestos Awareness training
ECS Card preferred (qualification required to gain one as a minimum).
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Must own full tool kit and associated drills.
Salary & Benefits:
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (approx. £18.00/hr)
