Job Title: Area Sales Manager (South West England)
Location: South West England (Field-based with regular travel)
Role Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Area Sales Manager to join our sales team. Covering the South West England territory, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality agricultural product.
You’ll work closely with farmers, offering expert advice and tailored solutions that meet their individual needs. This role requires on-farm visits at least two days per week, with the remaining time dedicated to telesales and effective use of our CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and sell our full range of products to both existing and prospective farmers.
* Conduct regular farm visits to understand customer needs, provide product support, and demonstrate benefits.
* Build and nurture long-term relationships with farmers, becoming a trusted advisor.
* Organise and host farm open days and farm meetings to generate leads
* Attend and represent the company at relevant agricultural trade shows within your territory.
* Focus on ways to grow the territory and bring on new customers each week.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system to manage customer information
Additional Duties
* Represent the sales team at national shows and events when required.
* Attend meetings at Head Office and maintain regular communication with internal teams.
* Ensure high standards of professionalism, efficiency, and collaboration across departments.
* Identify personal training and development needs to enhance performance and knowledge.

We are looking for someone who is:
* On Farm sales experience
* Passionate about the agricultural industry and committed to customer success
* Excellent at building rapport and establishing long-term relationships
* Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage their own time effectively
* Confident in both face-to-face and telephone sales
* Experienced in using CRM systems and reporting sales activity
