A highly regarded mainstream secondary school in Leicester is seeking a committed and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent position is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are passionate about inspiring students across KS3 to KS5.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-Level Physical Education

Plan and implement a varied curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development

*

Support extra-curricular sports clubs, competitions, and activities to enhance student participation and enjoyment

*

Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment programmes

*

Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or PGCE with a degree in Physical Education, Sport Science, or a related subject

*

Have experience teaching PE across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-Level delivery

*

Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

*

Be passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity

*

Be a proactive team player committed to the school’s vision and values
