Business Development Manager – Maintenance (North & Midlands)
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 + commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Contract: Permanent
The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive maintenance sales across the North of England and Midlands. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored fire and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and grow existing accounts
Build and maintain relationships with end users and FM providers
Create sales plans and manage a pipeline of opportunities
Conduct site surveys and prepare proposals
Respond to enquiries and produce quotations
Support marketing campaigns and events
Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM, and reports
About You
Proven sales experience (fire & security preferred but not essential)
Results-driven with strong relationship-building skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable Knowledge (training available): Fire detection, alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder, suppression, and relevant British Standards.
