SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

DIDCOT

We are delighted to have recently been awarded a new contract to deliver a large civil engineering contract in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The project is a £28m design and build substation upgrade over a 24-month duration and includes the construction of 3 No. transformer bays/new GIS building and other civil works comprising RC structures, roads, drainage, paving, steel frame and exterior cladding.

We are now seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor, to be based on site Monday to Friday, managing the commercials of this project using NEC4 Option C contract and reporting to the Commercial Manager.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Overseeing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

* Valuations

* Change management

* Subcontractor Procurement

* Subcontractor Payments

* Monthly Commercial Reporting

* CVR's

* Cash Flow Forecasts

* Final accounts and audits

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

* HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

* CSCS

* Good working knowledge and understanding of NEC4 Option C contract
