We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing and Project Support Coordinator to join our team. This unique role combines purchasing responsibilities with project management support, requiring a strong understanding of engineering drawings, quality documentation, and project scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read, interpret, and break down bespoke engineering drawings to identify and source required components.
* Maage and execute purchasing activities, ensuring all materials are procured on time and ithin budget.
* Liaise closely with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality and delivery requirements are met.
* Support project management activities, including creating and maintaining project plans using Microsoft Project.
* Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of quality documents and certifications.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication across purchasing, quality, and production teams.
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any potential delays or issues proactively.
* Maintain accurate purchasing and project records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Essential Skills and Experience:

* Ability to confidently read and break down complex engineering drawings.
* Strong understanding of quality documentation within an engineering environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project support within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Desirable:
* Experience in bespoke manufacturing or project-based environments.
