We’re seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Maintenance Operative to join our clients team and help maintain and improve the company's vital assets—including machinery, equipment, and buildings.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Carrying out routine preventative maintenance on plant, machinery and buildings
Responding quickly to breakdowns and safety issues to minimise downtime
Supporting repairs and providing analysis alongside the production and maintenance teams
Assisting with electrical/electronic tasks during peak periods or staff absence
Reporting any safety, breakdown, or environmental concerns to the Team Leader and Production Manager
Contributing actively to safety initiatives and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds), ideally 17th / 18th Edition certified with PAT testing experience
Solid mechanical skills: welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, drives
An engieering minded, problem-solving approach
An understanding of PLC programming and electronic systems is a plus
A great communicator and collaborative team player
Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
