We are currently working with a leading Property Maintenance provider to recruit a Procurement Analyst to join the team, working on a hybrid basis split between an office in East London and home
The Role:
This role is critical in supporting the Procurement function by delivering data-driven insights, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting strategic sourcing decisions. This role is responsible for analysing spend patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation. The Procurement Analyst also ensures robust data management, supports tender processes, and helps to align procurement activities with operational objectives across a multi-site environment. Through strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, it contributes to the continuous improvement and effectiveness of procurement strategies and systems.
Main responsibilities:
* Conduct robust spend analysis to identify savings, consolidation, and efficiency opportunities.
* Track and analyse supplier rebate schemes, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely reporting.
* Support supplier performance reviews by gathering and presenting supplier performance data.
* Provide market research and trend analysis to inform sourcing strategies and identify cost risks or opportunities.
* Lead and manage supplier due diligence processes, ensuring full compliance for all new supplier onboarding.
* Maintain high-quality data management and accurate reporting, including dashboard creation and regular executive summaries.
* Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and contract negotiation support.
Candidate requirements:
* Proven experience in a Procurement Analyst or similar role within property, construction or facilities management.
* Strong analytical and data modelling skills; advanced Excel skills are essential.
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Track record of delivering commercial insight and supporting successful negotiations and tenders.
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting in an evolving procurement environment.
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
* Knowledge of sustainability and ESG factors in procurement.
* Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) - desirable
* Experience in helping implement or improve procurement systems or frameworks. - desirable
