An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading FMCG company based in South Lincolnshire. We are currently seeking a hands-on and motivated Account & Quality Coordinator to join our client’s team on a 4-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who is confident working in both office and production environments.
The Role:
You will take responsibility for managing a key client account, ensuring the quality of fresh fruit products, and supporting both stock control and production operations. This is not a purely desk-based job – we’re looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting involved on the shop floor as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Act as the main point of contact for a key customer account.
* Monitor the quality of fruit both pre- and post-production to ensure it meets required standards.
* Check and track stock levels, ensuring maximum utilisation and minimal wastage.
* Liaise closely with production and packing teams to meet client expectations.
* Support packing and production activities during busy periods or when issues arise.
* Work flexibly to support shifting operational requirements – early starts or late finishes may be necessary.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with both internal teams and the client.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience in the FMCG sector – ideally with fresh produce or food.
* A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to work in both office and production areas.
* A strong understanding of stock control and quality checking procedures.
* Great communication skills, both with customers and internal teams.
* Flexibility to work varied hours to meet operational needs.
* IT literacy for basic reporting and communication.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience working directly with retailers or managing client accounts.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Forklift licence or warehouse experience (training can be provided).
Contract Details:
* Initial 4-month contract with potential for extension depending on business needs.
* Full-time role with flexible working hours, including possible early mornings or late finishes.
