Health, Safety and Environment Advisor
I am recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to join a leading construction and infrastructure business based in Swindon. This role supports both head office and project locations, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance across the business.

About the role
* Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the HSE Management System
* Update systems in line with legislation and best practice
* Assist with HSE training and wider awareness programmes
* Support the behavioural based safety programme
* Carry out inspections and audits with project management teams and recommend improvements
* Assist with investigating and recording close calls, near misses and incident reports
* Help manage key HSE data and support accurate trend analysis
* Support Occupational Health and Wellbeing campaigns across the business
* Provide HSE input into tenders and pre qualification submissions
* Work collaboratively with management, clients, designers, JV partners, subcontractors and suppliers

What we are looking for
* Strong HSE experience within construction or infrastructure
* Ability to influence and support teams at all levels
* Proactive approach to continuous improvement and behavioural safety
* Strong understanding of legislation, compliance and best practice
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Full UK driving licence as site visits may be required
