This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a passionate teacher looking to teach Geography at KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level. About the Role:

Teach Geography at KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and subject mastery

*

Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans and schemes of work in line with department goals and exam specifications

*

Monitor and support student progress through assessment, feedback, and tailored intervention

*

Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities, field trips, and cross-curricular projects

*

Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department to maintain high standards and share best practice

The Ideal Candidate Will:

*

Hold QTS or PGCE with a degree in Geography or a closely related subject

*

Have experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Geography, or the confidence and training to do so

*

Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusive, differentiated teaching

*

Show excellent subject knowledge, a proactive attitude, and a passion for student progress

*

Be a reflective and collaborative practitioner committed to continuous improvement and innovation
