Job Title: Temporary Process Operator
Location: Widnes
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: 4 on 4 off

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Operator to join a busy industrial site in the Widnes area on a temporary basis. This role supports the production department in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Our client are looking for someone who is hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, often in physically demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safe and efficient operation of forklift trucks (FLT)

* Offloading chemicals into drums, IBCs and bulk tankers

* Sampling and preparing chemical samples for analysis

* Assisting with stock control and inventory management

* Maintaining high standards of site housekeeping

* General yard duties and support to the production team

Essential Requirements:

* Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or equivalent)

* Previous experience in a chemical or process plant environment

* Confident and competent in chemical handling procedures

* Strong understanding of health & safety protocols and PPE usage

* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* A reliable, team-focused approach with a strong work ethic

Desirable:

* Familiarity with inventory or materials management systems

* Experience with chemical sampling and documentation processes
