Position: English Teacher Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Long‑term (until the Easter break) Pay: £160 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

A well‑regarded secondary school in Salisbury is seeking an English Teacher to join them from January until the Easter break. You will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that support students’ literacy, analytical skills, and enjoyment of literature.

Planning and resources will be provided, allowing you to focus on high‑quality teaching and effective classroom delivery. The school welcomes both experienced teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas‑trained teachers with experience of the UK curriculum.

This Ofsted‑rated “Good” school based in Salisbury has a close‑knit community of around 650 students aged 11–16. Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Passionate about English and able to inspire students

Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
