About The Role
Ensure that all fire and safety equipment within the company is in working order and monitored on a regular basis and compile reports on any faults relating to the fire alarm system. Complete weekly testing of the fire alarms and visual inspections of the fire extinguishers in all venues. Conduct regular fire safety checks of the venues/accommodation units and complete monthly reports and enforce fire safety regulations on the resort, ensuring the best practice is shared with the team.
Maintain the Fire Safety portal and Logbook ensuring compliance with the Fire Policy Carry out Fire Warden training where needed to enlighten team on general fire safety. Monitoring and mitigation of unwanted fire alarm activation. Work in conjunction with external contractors to ensure the resort complies with fire regulations, liaising with the Fire & Rescue Service and Authorities involved in fire safety.
Investigate any fire incidents, near misses and fire safety compliance failures on the resort and provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on prevention of similar incidents.
Providing input to central teams with any new builds/building modification projects on fire safety requirements. Advising on fire issues relating to building structure and fabric, services, alterations and maintenance.
Maintain the Fire Safety portal and Logbook ensuring compliance with the Fire Policy. Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments . Collaborating with the Resort Facilities team to ensure any points raised on the fire risk assessment are resolved within appropriate timescales. Ensuring that each venue/department has a minimum of one fire drill per year
About You
A good standard of IT literacy, attention to detail, communication and negotiation skills, ability to work as a team player and make decisions acting on your own initiative. You must have the ability and flexibility to work under instruction on any health and safety projects which will include weekend work.

Qualifications and Training
· Ideally, they will have successfully completed the NEBOSH Fire Certificate. A successful candidate without the qualification will need to successfully complete the course and within 12 months of commencing the role· Fire Risk Assessment· Training qualification – preferred but not essential as training can be providedMust be prepared to undertake Level 3 Award in Education and Training
