Position: Ocean Freight Product Operator - Shipping

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Location: Southampton

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00pm

Are you detail-oriented with a background in shipping lines or freight forwarding? We're looking for an Ocean Product Administrator to join our Head Office team, with the option to be based in Southampton.

In this key support role, you'll work closely with our Ocean Product Manager to ensure the smooth coordination of freight rates, sailing schedules, and other essential documentation.

What You'll Be Doing:

Updating and maintaining freight rate tariffs
Managing sailing schedules and carrier information
Supporting the Ocean Product Manager in day-to-day operations
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy
Assisting with reporting and market analysisWhat We're Looking For:

Experience in the shipping or ocean freight industry (ideally from a shipping line or freight forwarder)
Strong administrative and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Excel and internal systems
A proactive, team-oriented approachWhat's on Offer:
