Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of supportive and inclusive secondary schools in Newham who are looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support students' learning across a variety of subjects. This role is ideal for someone considering a future in teaching, offering valuable classroom experience and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students in and out of lessons, including one-to-one and small group work

Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

Helping students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum

Encouraging student engagement and academic progress

Collaborating with teachers and pastoral staff to support student wellbeing

What We're Looking For:

A recent graduate (any subject considered, but strong demand for English, Maths, Science, and Humanities)

A genuine passion for education and making a difference in young people's lives

Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential

Commitment to working full-time during term time
