Are you a recent graduate (2023 or later) looking to gain practical experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? This role is ideal for anyone planning a career in educational psychology, teaching, or other child-focused fields.

As a Teaching Assistant with Milk Education’s Graduate Programme, you’ll provide 1:1 and small-group support to students, helping them engage in learning and develop essential skills. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and multidisciplinary teams, gaining insight into SEND strategies, Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), and inclusive classroom practice.

What you’ll do:

Support students with SEND in class and small groups

Assist with IEPs and tailored learning strategies

Observe and record student progress

Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment

Work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams

Who we’re looking for:

Graduates (2023 or later) with an interest in SEND

Patient, empathetic, and proactive individuals

Strong communicators who enjoy working as part of a team

Current enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
