Clark James Insurance Recruitment are seeking an experienced Insurance Account handler/broker to join a fast moving successful and particularly friendly Insurance brokerage in the South East London area. They have a loyal base of both Commercial Business as well as Private clients so they need someone with a good all round knowledge in Insurance broking. Please don't apply if you don't have Insurance experience.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of loyal clients that return each year to this company due to their outstanding customer service and friendliness.

You will provide knowledgeable advice to existing customers in respect of their insurance needs, liaise effectively with insurers to obtain the most appropriate terms for the clients and oversee the departmental renewal list to ensure that all cases are renewed in line with requirements and the clients demands and needs are met at all times.

You will manage mid term alterations/policy changes, check and issue policy documentation to clients, check incoming proposal forms, diary management, renewal re broking and negotiation with insurers, setting up policy records, creating client schedules and compiling market presentations

A competitive salary is on offer with a bonus scheme to increase your salary. Working hours are Mon-Friday 9-5 with no Saturdays. The role is office based not hybrid.
