Experienced Carpenter Required - Start ASAP - Commercial Site in Stoke Gifford, BS34

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team immediately for a commercial project based in Stoke Gifford (BS34). This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work efficiently within a team environment.

Location: Stoke Gifford, BS34

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Pay Rate: £27 - £30 per hour (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (9 hours paid per day)

Contract: Full-time

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks on a busy commercial construction site. Duties will include measuring, cutting, shaping, and installing wood, plywood, and other materials to build structures or fit components according to plans and specifications. You will be expected to work to a high standard while maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general carpentry duties including framing, fitting doors, windows, partitions, and skirting

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Work collaboratively with site managers, other trades, and subcontractors

Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Report any site issues or hazards to supervisors immediately

Requirements:

CSCS Card - Blue card preferred (proof of competency and site access)

Must have own tools and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Proven experience working on commercial sites

Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality

Good communication skills
