Role: Maintenance Support / Caretaker

Location: North Yorkshire, YO51 9

Shifts: Monday to Friday (split shift: 6am-10am / 2pm-6pm)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp to perm

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Caretaker to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and proactive individual with a strong background in caretaking and facilities support. The position offers long-term potential for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the school daily

Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance as required

Checking and ensuring cleaners' tasks are completed to a high standard

Supporting with porterage tasks, including parcel deliveries

Completing PPMs in line with contract requirements

Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and creating a safe environment for staff, pupils, and visitors

Securing all doors, windows, and buildings when not in operation

Additional Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (mandatory)

Reliability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently
