Here at 1st Step Solutions, we are supporting a well-established leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Mechanical Senior Project Manager and a Mechanical Project Engineer, both specialising in Sprinkler work, to join their developing team on a project in Bridgwater. This is a high-profile project requiring strong acumen, precision, and proactive leadership to oversee the full life-cycle of the sprinkler system on Phase 1 of a £4 Billion project.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be responsible for performing tasks and duties based on the needs of the project, including, but not limited to the following:

Managing the design, coordination, and installation of complex sprinkler systems that meet strict fire protection standards in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Coordinating design integration with BIM teams, engineers, and general contractors on the project.
Identify and address potential risks or issues early, seeking commercial advice when needed.
Conduct regular site inspections, resolving field issues, and maintaining QA/QC standards
Lead and support installation teams, engineers, and technicians.
Promote Health & Safety at all times, ensuring risks are identified and mitigation measures are put in place.
Ensure all installation work is completed on time and to the relevant British Standards.What We're Looking For

HNC/HND Building Services qualification or above - Desirable.
CSCS Managerial Card
SMSTS/SSSTS
Having the ability and being comfortable to take on large and complex packages of work at a management level.
Proven expertise of working with and installing sprinkler systems, with a strong knowledge of current construction practices and safety on site.
