Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Engineering

Company Overview:
We are a well-established industrial engineering business, specialising in the repair and refurbishment of motors, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a driven and experienced Technical Sales Manager (or Sales Engineer) to lead business development and account management efforts across the North and Midlands.
Role Overview:
This role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to deliver bespoke engineering solutions. You’ll be responsible for growing our client base, managing key accounts, and working closely with our in-house engineering teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the sales area to increase revenue and expand the customer base.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients across various industrial sectors.
*
Sell technical solutions to both contractors and end users.
*
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
*
Identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends within industrial maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
*
Strong background in technical sales within industrial engineering or mechanical/electrical repair sectors.
*
Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and refurbishment/repair services.
*
Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*
Self-motivated and able to work independently across a wide territory.
Package:
*
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
