As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our nursery and reception classes. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the lead teacher in implementing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, including a strong emphasis on phonics.
Providing individualised attention to students to support their learning and development, particularly in phonics.
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and valued.
Encouraging and promoting social interaction and teamwork among the students.
Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities, with a focus on phonics-based resources.
Supporting students with their personal needs, including meal times and toileting.
Communicating effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress, especially in phonics development.Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

Minimum of a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, an early years degree or a similar childcare qualification.
Prior experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child development, with a strong emphasis on phonics.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing personality.
