Technical Manager:

As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring passive firestopping projects meet regulatory and manufacturer standards. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality fire protection solutions.
Your expertise in passive fire protection systems and fire door installations, will be instrumental in relation to project execution as you will be undertaking inspections of final installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. You work alongside an Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager will manage all on site works, including the procurement of materials. They will be responsible for ensuring operatives produce workmanship that complies with regulatory and manufacturer standards. You will also be supported by a Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will manage all monthly valuations, invoices and commercial reporting.
You will be required to support the Quantity Surveyor with in pricing tenders and variations to ensure adequate allowances are made for labour, plant, materials, preliminaries and time (programme).

Experience:
• Proven experience (5+ years) in technical compliance, ideally in the construction or fire protection industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UK/European fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards related to passive fire protection.
• Strong technical expertise in passive firestopping systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team of technicians.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in project management
and documentation.
