Telehandler needed in Teesside
* Rate: To Be Confirmed
* Payment Type: PAYE (Direct Employment – No Umbrella)
* Duration: Long-Term Project (Up to 2 Years+, Potential Extension)
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a major long-term construction project in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity to secure stable employment on a high-profile scheme with significant programme duration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating plant safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures, lift plans, and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safe operation of telescopic handler in line with CPCS standards
* Loading, unloading, lifting and placing materials as directed
* Supporting trades with timely material distribution
* Carrying out daily pre-start and defect checks
* Reporting faults or safety concerns immediately
* Working in accordance with RAMS and site lifting plans
* Maintaining housekeeping standards around work areas
* Complying fully with site Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Essential Requirements
* Valid CPCS Telehandler Ticket
* Valid Safety Critical Medical
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience operating telehandlers on busy construction sites
* Strong understanding of safe systems of work
* Ability to reliably commute to Teesside site
* Right to work in the UK
Working Hours
* Anticipated hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (to be confirmed prior to start date).
