Senior Structural Engineer
 
We are working with an expanding and well-regarded Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy who, as part of their continued growth, are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Permanent Works Team. This is a key role, suited to someone experienced, confident, and personable, who has strong experience in the design of building structures
 
The Role:

Play a key role in structural design and delivery of permanent works across a range of building and infrastructure projects
Produce, check, and approve structural calculations, technical reports, and design documentation in line with UK standards
Deliver detailed structural designs in steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry using relevant Eurocodes and British Standards
Coordinate closely with civil engineers, architects, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
Take technical ownership of projects from concept through detailed design and construction support
Use and oversee the application of structural analysis and design software (e.g. ETABS, SAFE, Tekla, TSD, Robot, SCIA or similar)
Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, buildability, and compliance with design intent
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and support their professional development
Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring delivery to programme and budget
Liaise with clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical solutions and responding to design queries 
About You:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards CEng with ICE or IStructE
At least 7+ years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering
