Role overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Conducting a comprehensive technical assessment of how the proposed future scope may impact the existing contactless rail payment system architecture developed in earlier phases.
Performing detailed evaluations of external technical proposals, including industry-standard specifications such as EMV, to assess feasibility and compatibility with future system enhancements.
Defining the implications of the proposed future scope on current compliance and certification outcomes, ensuring any regulatory or operational impacts are clearly documented and addressed.
Providing technical assurance and subject matter expertise to support decision-making for the agreed future solution scope. This includes evaluating integration with system components, enhancements to functionality, revenue inspection processes, and service monitoring requirements.
Experience needed:
Strong experience in designing and assessing complex transport or fare collection system architectures, preferably in multi-modal environments.
Proven ability to evaluate technical proposals and provide assurance across compliance, certification, and systems integration.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Strong analytical and documentation skills to articulate architectural impacts and support strategic decision-making. (Rullion is a recruitment agency)
