Are you a commercially sharp National Account Manager who knows how to build retailer relationships, drive growth, and deliver first-class service in the fast-moving world of fresh produce?
We’re partnering with a globally respected, category-leading fresh food business that puts quality, innovation, and customer partnerships at the heart of everything they do. They’re looking for a talented NAM to join their UK commercial team and take ownership of a major national retail account.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own the day-to-day relationship with a key UK retailer and become their go-to commercial partner
* Deliver budgeted sales, negotiate weekly pricing, and maximise value across branded and private label lines
* Forecast demand, match supply, and ensure service levels stay consistently high
* Communicate price, volume and availability with clarity and confidence
* Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, growers, category, packaging and senior leadership
* Analyse performance, spot opportunities, and bring category-led insights to the customer
* Support tenders, build growth plans, and be part of the wider commercial strategy
* Get into stores, understand the competitive landscape, and bring intelligence back into the business
What We’re Looking For
* An experienced National Account Manager (or strong Junior NAM ready to step up)
* Retailer-facing experience essential – ideally within fresh food or FMCG
* Sharp commercial instincts, confident negotiator, strong communicator
* Highly organised, proactive, solutions-driven and comfortable working at pace
* Excel/PowerPoint capable, data-literate, and reliable with forecasting
* Passionate about fresh produce, food culture, and customer partnerships
* Willingness to travel within the UK as needed
