Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000

The role of a Designer– Architectural Metal will involve:

* Design position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases

* Build and develop client relationships throughout projects

* Ensure design is maintained from concept through to completion

* Producing designs for projects ranging from £50k to £1.2m in value

* Liaise with client and external consultants in relation to live projects

* Identify and manage design risks

The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Architectural Metal with:

* Must have 5+ years design experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, decking, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases

* Must have AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla or related software experience

* Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial projects

* Ideally will have a degree in architecture, engineering, design, or a related field

* Knowledge of cladding systems will be preferred

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills

* Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
