Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School in BL9 area, Bury
Start Date: September 2024 to July 2025

The primary school is located in the BL9 area of Bury, looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support the academic and social development of their students, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

What You'll Do:

Assist teachers in the classroom with daily activities and lesson plans.
Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
Support students with special educational needs and tailor approaches to their individual needs.
Assist with administrative tasks and prepare classroom materials as needed.

Experience working with children in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
A genuine passion for education and helping young learners succeed.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
