Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant 
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Dependent on experience

About the Role:
Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage within the schools pre-school classroom 
Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
Helping to plan, engaging learning activities and lessons weekly
Promoting a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment
Assisting with observations, assessments and classroom routines
Managing a group of approximately 8 Key Children - monitoring individual development progress
Maintaining a strong and positive parent partnership Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent
Have previous experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or school)
Be passionate about early childhood development
Be warm, reliable and proactive in supporting children’s needs
Have experience as a Key worker and monitoring individual development needs and progressSmile Education will support you by:
