Redrock Recruitment are looking to recruit for their client experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team working for a specialist Pre Cast Frames Contractor Specialising in Major Projects across the UK and Europe, the client is seeking someone experienced and able to showcase strong commercial experience of delivering projects from inception to closing out final accounts. good knowledge of JCT forms of contract essential.
The role based int he Birmingham office there will be some need to go to sites either in UK or Europe so must be open to that possibility

The client is in the envious position of having secured work for the next 8-10 years so a great time to join

Your day to day will include:

Creating BOQ’s on new tenders
Creating costing sheets & quotations for new tenders
Managing Live projects from start to finish. (Securing project, liaising with client, and creating schedules, liaising with design team, liaising with factories, liaising with install teams, creating handover documents including all the ITPS)
Great working attitude with the interest of learning and developing within the role.
Birmingham Based – will be required to attend site when and where required. (UK & Europe)
Prior Precast concrete experiences in a Must.
Understanding of contracts
Excellent IT skills – Excel, Email, ACC, Bluebeam – CAD (would be good)

Desired/Essential Skills

* Local to the midlands area

* Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Flexible, can-do attitude

* MS Office skills

* Ability to prioritize workload and delegate efficiently

* Full driving license
