Workshop Manager & Plant Fitter

Location: Blackpole, Worcestershire

Salary: Up to £60k plus Bonus

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required)

The initial role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy plant machinery, skip lorries, grab lorries, and various site equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, reducing downtime and improving the lifespan of our equipment.

Moving forwards, this role will quickly turn into a management role of 3-4 to be the complete turnkey solution to the business and clients.

What We’re Looking For

* Management experience.

* Experience as a Plant Fitter, HGV Mechanic, or Heavy Machinery Technician.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

* Experience with excavators, loading shovels, crushers, screeners, skip lorries, or similar plant equipment.

* Welding and fabrication skills (desirable but not essential).

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.

* Full UK driving licence (essential).

* HGV, FLT, or relevant plant maintenance qualifications are advantageous but not required.
