Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £90-£120 per day

Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

PK education are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a SEND School in Mansfield, committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for a candidate with previous experience working in SEND settings, a compassionate nature, and the ability to adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

1. Do you have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential?

2. Are you adaptable, patient, and able to handle the varied demands of working with SEND students?

3. Can you work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning experience?

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs

- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing tailored education and behaviour plans

- Support the development of social, communication, and learning skills

- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Essential Requirements:

- Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant

- Understanding of SEND strategies and individual learning needs

- Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach
