Voids Caretaker

£24K plus van and fuel card

About Us:

Build Recruitment are currently working with a MOD contractor , who are looking for a Voids Maintenance Operative / Caretaker to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a interesting full time role that would suit someone experienced in caretaking of properties or general maintenance.

You will visit various newly void MOD domestic properties within Plymouth to complete a number of property condition checks including:

Final meter readings including electricity, water, gas etc
Draining down of heating system
Completing a property condition report, including photographing any damage and recording on a PDA device.
Securing the property- checking all windows and doors are locked
Collecting any post and utility bills and passing across to the utilities team

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

Full driving licence
Experience of maintenance or caretaking
A DBS check and security clearance will be required
