Facilities Engineer – The Role:
The facilities Engineer , in collaboration with the HSE Manager, will manage and coordinate activities that will ensure the effective and efficient operation of both HT buildings ensuring that all legislative requirements are sustainably and effectively managed. Ensuring compliance with environmental, security and safety regulations. They will also, as directed by the I&D Leader, take on responsibility for other projects within the Department.
Facilities Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the HSE manager, ensuring compliance with all onsite environmental, HSE and Safety legislation
- Working and collaborating with onsite teams and facility support contractors to ensure the HT business plans are met
- For the management of all facilities ensuring optimised Operations on site monitored via integrated Building Management System
- Working with the I & D team , collaborating on specific projects as required
- Managing and facilitating new build, renovations, refurbishments and office moves
Facilities Engineer – You:
- HND/ Degree in a recognised engineering discipline with 5 years’ experience in a process and/or manufacturing environment
- Additional Qualifications in health and safety and/or facilities management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a team and can also structure and coach staff in tasks
- Leadership skills and Experience in site and subcontractor management
- Strong (evidenced) negotiation skills for negotiating contracts and for managing projects
