An established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support ongoing rail station infrastructure and general civil works across central Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role within a forward-thinking project team delivering high-profile infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations
*
Set out works and carry out site surveying activities
*
Ensure works meet quality, safety, and environmental standards
*
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
*
Assist with weekly site planning, logistics, and documentation
*
Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and inspections
About the Projects
Projects include:
*
Rail station platforms and structural upgrades
*
Highways and road improvement works
*
Bridges, tunnels, earthworks, and flood prevention
*
Power infrastructure and environmental enhancements
What We’re Looking For
*
HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering
*
Proven experience in setting out and site engineering roles
*
Ability to read and implement technical drawings
*
Experience managing subcontractors and materials
*
Strong record-keeping and communication skills
*
Experience with Inspection Test Plans and Work Package Plans preferred
