Caretaker - Bournemouth

TimePlan Education is currently seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to support a welcoming school in Bournemouth. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

Duties Include:

Opening and securing school premises daily

Basic maintenance and minor repairs

Cleaning and tidying of school grounds

Health & safety checks and record-keeping

Setting up rooms for events or assemblies

Liaising with contractors and reporting issues

Sample Daily Timeplan:

TimeTask
7:00 - 9:00Open site, check grounds, litter pick
9:00 - 12:00General maintenance tasks
12:00 - 15:00Site checks, deliveries, room setups
15:00 - 17:00End-of-day security and cleaning

Requirements:

Previous caretaking or facilities experience preferred

Basic maintenance/DIY skills essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)

Strong attention to detail and reliability
