We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Technician for a leading IT service provider based in Bristol. You will join our Hub and Field Services team and be responsible for providing high-quality hardware support, asset management, and service delivery across a central hub and associated spoke locations, ensuring service levels are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and progress support tickets assigned to the Hub and surrounding sites, ensuring timely updates and effective call management in line with contractual service levels.
* Oversee Hub stock and asset management, including scanning equipment in and out of locations.
* Manage the secure and compliant disposal of IT equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Triage and carry out hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, coordinating with vendors for parts replacement and returns.
* Replenish equipment lockers where required.
* Identify and escalate potential service issues or improvement opportunities to the Team Leader.
* Adhere to all agreed processes and procedures, including site regulations and internal operational standards.
Essential Requirements
* Must hold current SC Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
* Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota and standby cover.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a PC field service or workshop environment.
* Accredited, or willing to become accredited, in HP and Dell desktop and laptop support.
This is an umbrella contract, the role is Inside IR35
