Job Title: Skills Trainer: Housing and Leadership & Management (L&M)
Location: London (with travel to workplaces as required)
Contract: Permanent

Overview:
Our client is looking for a Skills Trainer in Housing and Leadership & Management to deliver engaging, high-quality training to apprentices and employees. Working with Academy colleagues, you’ll support learners through classroom, online, and workplace sessions to ensure successful completion of training programmes and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, plan, and deliver lessons, workshops, and tutorials across Housing and L&M subjects.
Provide tailored 1-2-1 learner support and progress reviews.
Monitor learner progress, attendance, retention, and achievement.
Support learners in preparing for End Point Assessments and exams.
Maintain accurate assessment records and reports.
Participate in curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
Support Safeguarding, Prevent, and equality initiatives within the learner experience.
Act as a role model, motivating learners to achieve their qualifications and progress in their careers.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Teaching qualification (DTLLS or willingness to gain).
Level 2 English & Maths.
Experience teaching Housing or L&M subjects, or strong vocational knowledge in these areas.
Knowledge of OFSTED standards, apprenticeship programmes, and quality improvement frameworks.
Strong communication, IT, organisational, and learner engagement skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunities, and GDPR compliance.
Desirable:
Experience of apprenticeship delivery in social housing.
Prior knowledge of Housing and L&M curricula and exams processes
