Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Special School
Location: North Sheffield
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM start

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our well-established team in a specialist school in North Sheffield. You will be working with children aged 7-16 (Year 3-Year 11), providing support for pupils with SEND needs and contributing to a positive, structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs across primary and secondary age groups.

Confidently managing and supporting positive behaviour.

Assisting teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences.

Working collaboratively within a high staff-to-pupil ratio team to meet individual pupil needs.

Supporting classroom activities, interventions, and general school routines.

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND.

Confident in behaviour management.

Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of different pupils.

Flexible and reliable, with a commitment to starting ASAP.
