Salary: £28,000 – £32,000
Location: Central Manchester + hybrid working

Key Responsibilities

Ensure a robust, accurate, and compliant cashiering function by managing all payments and receipts.
Monitor daily bank balances and ensure full compliance with the SRA Client Money Rules.
Improve and streamline banking and cashiering processes, embedding effective financial controls.
Produce timely and accurate bank reconciliations, reports, and ad hoc financial information.
Support other finance functions as required, including Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
Carry out additional tasks and projects as directed by the Finance Manager or Finance Director, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
Individual specification:

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

Previous experience in a legal cashiering or similar finance role, ideally within a legal practice.
Strong knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules is highly desirable.
Experience with legal finance systems: 3E is advantageous but not essential.
A relevant qualification such as the ILFM Diploma is advantageous though not required
